Lindsey von Bloedau

Profile

Lindsey practices in the areas of insurance defence and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on complex matters and class actions. Prior to joining the firm in 2026, Lindsey practiced at a national insurance defence firm. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as before the BC Human Rights Tribunal.

Lindsey’s representative work includes:

  • Acting for religious, education and sports organizations in the defence of historical sexual abuse claims, including class actions.
  • Acting for manufacturers and suppliers of products with alleged defects arising from design and manufacture, including acting for pharmaceutical manufacturers in the defence of pharmaceutical class actions.
  • Defending complex and catastrophic personal injury claims, including: injuries sustained during sporting events or activities; commercial host claims; and claims under the Occupiers Liability Act.
  • Acting for employers in defence of wrongful dismissal claims.

In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys trail running, cooking from scratch, knitting, and chasing after her toddler.
