Amalia Silberman

Profile
Amalia is an associate at DWF in the Toronto office. She is developing a broad insurance defence practice, including bodily injury, construction, commercial litigation, and cybersecurity matters.
Before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2026, Amalia earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. During law school, she served as Vice President of Finance for the Jewish Law Students’ Association and was a student editor of the Wrongful Convictions Law Review. In 2025, Amalia was a summer student at the firm, where she assisted on a wide range of litigation matters.
Prior to law school, Amalia completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Queen’s University, majoring in Life Sciences with a minor in French. She also holds an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research from Humber College.
Outside of work, Amalia enjoys watching reality competition shows and true crime documentaries, staying active through gymnastics
