Dorsa joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024. She maintains a broad civil litigation practice with a focus on professional liability, personal injury, and general insurance matters. Dorsa has successfully represented clients before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, earning recognition for her civil jury trial experience. She also has notable experience appearing before the BC Human Rights Tribunal.
Dorsa is a dedicated and persuasive advocate known for her meticulous attention to detail, persuasive legal writing, and strong oral advocacy skills. She thrives on the problem-solving aspect of her practice and values the intellectual stimulation of learning something new each day. Her zealous advocacy and courtroom confidence are complemented by a collaborative, results-driven approach that emphasizes working closely with clients to prioritize early and pragmatic resolutions.
Dorsa received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Victoria, where she was actively involved in the student community – serving the Law Student Society as the faculty’s Social Coordinator, implementing initiatives such as the Law Buddy Program and planning various social events to encourage peer connection and mentorship. Dorsa also pursued early hands-on legal experience, completing two temporary articling positions in the Environmental Law Clinic and The Law Centre advocating for clients in various civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
Prior to attending law school, Dorsa obtained her Bachelor of Arts with distinction at the University of Calgary where she was the recipient of the Department of Psychology Academic Achievement Award. During her studies, Dorsa maintained a position as a peer counselor through the Women’s Resource Centre. Dorsa continues to prioritize community service, evidenced through her involvement with Access Pro Bono and leading the firm’s annual United Way fundraiser.
In her spare time, Dorsa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, dancing, travelling, consuming true crime, and spoiling her cats.
