Riley Jamieson

Profile

Riley joined the firm in 2025 as a legal assistant primarily working in bodily defence and insurance litigation. Prior to her time with DWF, she worked at a small boutique firm specializing in family, real estate, wills, and estates law, where she drafted wills and powers of attorney, and estate administration documents. Although she has only been in the legal industry for a little over a year, her well-rounded experience in these various areas of law has proved her ability to adapt and diversify her work. Riley’s ambition to continue to grow and succeed as a Paralegal has driven the success of the files she takes on with a positive and grounded approach.

Riley graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2024 with her Legal Assistant diploma and graduated in 2023 with the Medical Office Assistant certificate with Honours. Riley’s education and background in the medical field have provided her with a strong foundation and understanding of the healthcare processes that are involved in bodily injury and civil litigation law, which has proven invaluable in her work as a Legal Assistant when analyzing medical documentation and supporting files involving complex medical information.

Outside of the office, Riley enjoys spending time with her friends and family and exploring new restaurants to eat at. In the summer, you can find her at Moyie River in British Columbia at her family’s property with her face buried in a book. For relaxation, Riley thoroughly enjoys going on hikes, playing video games on her PC, and painting.
