Sina Seyed Ali

Profile

Sina joined the firm in 2024 as a summer student and returned to complete his articles in 2025. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026. Sina practices general civil litigation with a developing focus in commercial litigation. He has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Sina graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor with a specialization in Indigenous Legal Studies. During law school, he volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and completed temporary articles at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic. He served as Executive Editor of the UBC Law Review and worked as a research assistant, exploring topics in international taxation, private law jurisprudence, and children’s law.

Prior to law school, Sina obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Victoria. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a teaching assistant and supported students in campus residences as a Residence Advisor.

Outside of work, Sina enjoys playing soccer, practicing meditation, and spending time with family and friends.
