Sukhvir Chohan

Profile

Sukhvir is a dedicated and compassionate advocate with experience appearing before both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Before joining DWF, she represented the Director of Child, Family and Community Services in child protection matters, developing strong litigation skills in emotionally complex and sensitive cases.

Sukhvir brings a well-rounded approach to her practice, combining her courtroom experience with a focus on alternative dispute resolution to help clients reach fair, efficient outcomes.

During law school, she was actively involved in a number of initiatives, including the Amicus Pro Bono Society. She went on to complete her Master of Laws at the Peter Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and was called to the bar in 2023.

Outside of the office, Sukhvir enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
