Profile

Tuna has a broad litigation practice including insurance defence, construction, and general commercial litigation. Tuna has a wide-ranging litigation background in the areas of criminal defence, civil litigation, Indigenous law, and public law prior to joining DWF in 2026. He has acted in class action lawsuits, municipal development matters, construction liens, shareholder disputes, insurance defence matters, and contractual disputes.

Tuna has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Edmonton Subdivision and Development Appeal Board. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2020 where he volunteered with Student Legal Services’ criminal division and was President of the Law Students’ Association. Prior to law school, Tuna obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Honours from MacEwan University.

Outside of work, Tuna enjoys reading, cooking, volunteering in the community, and is an avid Arsenal fan.
