Lexie Firkola

Profile

Lexie Firkola joined DWF as a summer student in 2024 and returned to complete her articles in 2025. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026. Lexie has a broad civil litigation practice and regularly assists clients in general insurance litigation, including both subrogation and defence work. She has a growing focus on employment, personal injury, and professional liability disputes. Lexie has appeared before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Lexie earned her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2025. During law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, including conducting research for the development of an accessible 2SLGBTQIA+ legal clinic and as a Project Coordinator for The Consent Project.

Before pursuing law, Lexie completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. Her background in psychology continues to inform her client-focused approach to legal practice.

Outside of work, Lexie enjoys traveling, trying out new recipes and work out classes, and spending time with friends.
