Alycia Nicoll

Profile

Alycia was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026. She maintains a broad civil litigation practice and regularly assists clients in general insurance litigation, with experience in both subrogation and defence. She has a growing focus on professional liability, employment, and bodily injury matters. Alycia has appeared before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Alycia earned her Juris Doctor from Western University in 2025. During law school, she was actively involved in the legal community, volunteering with Western’s Dispute Resolution Centre to provide not-for-profit mediation services to local community members. She also acted as a legal research assistant in the areas of public health law and legal ethics.

Before pursuing law, Alycia earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Victoria and a Master of Arts in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies from the University of Toronto. Born and raised in the lower mainland, she is passionate about serving communities across British Columbia.

Outside of work, Alycia enjoys traveling to different countries, running along Vancouver’s trails, and trying new restaurants in the city.
