Profile

Nabeel is a dispute resolution lawyer whose practice focuses on property, construction, contract, and insurance disputes. He advises clients at all stages of a dispute, from early case assessment and settlement negotiations to litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

His clients include developers, property owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, trades, manufacturers, and strata corporations. He works with clients to identify the key issues early, control costs, and pursue a practical resolution, whether through settlement or at trial. He has represented clients before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and various administrative tribunals.

As associate practice leader of DWF’s subrogation group, Nabeel supports the development of junior lawyers through mentorship and training.

Nabeel is proficient in Farsi and advises clients in both English and Farsi.

Outside the office, he enjoys playing tennis, where his confidence and competitive instinct consistently exceed his ranking, and spending time with his family and friends. He also volunteers regularly with Access Pro Bono and at shelters in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
